Flowtation

  • Dream it.

Flowtation is a technique for moving through the ether in harmony, allowing our bodies to be vessels through which energy can bend, twist, shift and ultimately - Flow!

Based on the principles of a vinyasa yoga practice, where everything is placed with care and tuned to the breath, this practice is in the details.

  • Design it.

Focus on subtle refinements of the movements occurs, but the real magic lies in the constant element of movement present in the practice.

No stopping, no holding, no static. There is an ever present evolution of the self occurring at all times and we aim to observe and more deeply immerse into this constant evolution.

  • Expand it.

Flowtation has been born in large group formats, partly due to the nature of group flow which emanates form a gathering of individuals moving together to create a greater magic in action.

By working with over 250,000 people in person, this work has given me very specific insights into how we are and act as humans, how movement demonstrates where we are at, how we are navigating life.

  • Offer it.

There is an inherent element of attention to details necessary with Flowtation, which may include sessions of physical tuning, alignment of body-breath-soul or meditation and visualization sessions.

If you're curious to move in a more fluid, connected, nourishing manner, join me for some Flow! 1:1, Small Groups, Private events, Longterm Mentoring… This practice is designed to be tailored to you!

How did Flowtation come into Being?

Humans move, it's what we do. Some of us move through life simply because we have to, others make it a practice, and some still are born to move and express. Wherever you fit in, it helps to be able to move with the natural flow of life.

I grew up playing, skateboarding, skiing, playing sports, snowboarding, surfing, active! I always felt that I wanted my movements to be in flow with the natural elements of the world arond me, as they would be within me, so this principle seems to have intrinsically motivated me in my search for flow my entire life.

At 21 I found yoga, and the form of flow it sparked in me grew. Around the same time, I began practicing Qi Gong, which helped to enhance my practice of movement and living, as the movement of energy - or Qi - was essential in any practice, and required an element of flow to be present in order for me to move more efficiently and economically.

I started teaching yoga at 25, while mentoring with some of the greatest facilitators of a vinyasa flow practice and simultaneously practicing qi gong and other forms of movement. Through my own exploration of movement modalities and methodologies, I have found that everything I do revolves around flow, thus - Flowtation.

No stopping, no holding, no static. There is an ever present evolution of the self occurring at all times and we aim to observe and more deeply immerse into this constant evolution.
